What to do when condensate pipe frozen. Avoid suffering from no heating or no hot water in your home.

Advice

Pour warm water (not boiling water – this may break the pipe due to sudden expansion) onto the condense pipe up and down. You may need to repeat this procedure many times depending on the size of the pipe. Larger diameter pipes take a few good attempts)

Give it a shake or few taps along the pipe to release ice particles built up in the pipe. When you got rid of the ice particles reset the boiler according to manufacturer instruction.
