Burst cold water pipe in Evington, Leicester

We attended a burst cold water pipe in downstairs toilet area, which was not heated properly. There was a hand basin, toilet and pipe work for washing machine. Pipes are not insulated at all. Due to the extremely cold weather the cold supply to washing machine was broken. We repaired the burst pipe and put a new washing machine connection.

Advised our customer to put an electric heater in the room until the weather get better.

It’s always a good idea to insulate pipes in the airing cupboard and loft. Even in the utility area and outside toilet too.
